Q. Where do I pick up my key?
Q. What should I bring for my stay?
Q. What is in a typical condo on the BIFD program?
Q. Lost and Found?
Q. Who are the owners of Big Island Front Desk?
Picking up your key is both simple and convenient. A confirmation email will be sent to your email address which will include driving directions from the airport directly to your key pick-up instructions.
The Big Island Passport is the most important thing to bring as it contains directions and the key code necessary to release the key to your rental property.
In a typical condo on our rental program you will find fresh linens and towels, seating, bedding, dishes and silverware for the licensed capacity of the condo. In addition, we stock toilet paper, paper towels, dish washing detergent, dish soap and regular bar soap for your arrival. All of the condos have basic pots and pans for cooking. A television and DVD player are standard. If the condo has additional multimedia equipment such as stereos and video game stations they are listed on-line in the property description page under amenities.
If you have stayed in one of our condos and have lost an item let us know as soon as possible. We will attempt to locate the item by checking the unit and/or by speaking with the cleaning company. If we are successful at locating it you may choose from one of the following options to regain possession:
- We can safeguard it for you to pick-up within a 2-month period or
- We can mail the item back to you at cost plus a $10 handling fee.
